About Karina

A warm, integrative approach to counselling

I believe that the therapeutic relationship is at the heart of meaningful change. My practice is built on trust, compassion, and a deep respect for each person's unique experience.

Karina, counsellor at Peaceful Minds

Hello, I'm Karina

I'm a Level 5 qualified therapeutic integrative counsellor, working with adults who are navigating life's challenges — whether that's anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, grief, or simply feeling stuck.

My approach is integrative, which means I draw on a range of therapeutic models — including person-centred, Gestalt, and creative approaches — to tailor sessions to what works best for you.

I offer in-person, online, and Walk & Talk sessions, so we can find a way of working that feels comfortable and accessible for you.

Experience

Alongside my private practice, I have built experience across a range of specialist settings:

My approach

I work integratively, which means I don't follow a single rigid model. Instead, I draw on what is most helpful for you — whether that's exploring patterns from the past, working with thoughts and behaviours in the present, or simply having a space to be heard without judgement.

I have a particular interest in working with neurodivergent clients. I bring both lived experience and professional training to this work, and I am committed to creating a space that is genuinely affirming and free from assumptions.
